MEET YOUR TRUSTED JACKSONVILLE GENERAL DENTIST
Dr. Nicholas Chung
Dr. Nicholas Chung is a General Dentist who is originally from Orlando, FL. His journey to the profession of dentistry started with an introduction through his late father who was also General Dentist.
He attended the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor of Science in General Biology in 2016. From there, he returned to Florida to attend the University of Florida where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2020. While at the University of Florida, he volunteered for a mission trip to provide dental care for the children of Andros in the Bahamas along with his colleagues and mentors.
With a desire to continue to build upon his knowledge and skills, he attended an AEGD residency with NYU Langone in Nashville, TN where he had the opportunity to work with excellent mentors 1 on 1 in a community health setting that provided care for the underserved. During dental school and residency, he frequently donated his free time to various non-profit clinics such as “We Care” and Remote Area Medical.
Recognizing that each individual patient's needs are unique, his desire to seek out mentorship and education daily serves him well to be able to provide the highest standard of care tailored to each patient. Dr. Chung continues to immerse himself in world-class continuing education through the American Association of Endodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, and Hinman Dental.
His long-term goal is to open and nurture his own practice, while also providing mentorship and guidance to future clinicians in an academic setting.
