Meet our Dentist Dr. Hanna Mularkey
Originally hailing from Winston-Salem, NC, Dr. Hanna Mularkey discovered her passion for general dentistry during her involvement in a research study at the UNC Dental School. While receiving an implant, she experienced the transformative power of dentistry firsthand, which solidified her desire to pursue this rewarding profession. Dr. Mularkey subsequently served as a research assistant at the school and completed two externships at W. G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC, and St. Mary's Health Center in Wilmington, NC.

Beyond her extensive dental education, Dr. Mularkey possesses a deep commitment to volunteering. Prior to and throughout dental school, she dedicated over 225 hours to volunteering at NC Mission of Mercy Clinics throughout North Carolina. Additionally, she offered her assistance at the Samaritan Health Center and participated in Give Kids a Smile during her undergraduate years. Presently, Dr. Mularkey continues her philanthropic efforts by annually volunteering at the North East Florida Baptist Association mobile dental unit, providing essential dental services to underserved communities.
​
During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Mularkey met her husband, Shane, and they shared numerous visits to his family in Jacksonville. Eventually, fate led them to settle down in Atlantic Beach, FL, where they established their cherished forever home. Driven by their love for outdoor activities, the Mularkey family, including their dog Zeus and two sons, Carson and Brooks, can often be found engaging in various pursuits such as paddleboarding, biking, collecting shark's teeth, and sea glass.
